The One of One Story

‘One of One’ came to be because of one (sports)man’s quest to find the perfect leisurewear and one pattern cutter’s desire to make casual luxury attainable. Here’s how the story goes…

After a chance encounter, some might say serendipitous, Georgia and Stephen quickly discovered their shared passion and commitment for ethical, yet fashion forward leisurewear that will last. With a professional sportsman in one corner and a highly sought after couture designer in the other, One of One was destined to be in your wardrobe.

From fabrics to packaging, it all had to be green. Your order will arrive beautifully sealed in biodegradable packaging and all of our fabrics are made from only the highest quality materials – grown and spun locally to our factories in Portugal.

The collection was created to mix and match all year round – a collectable addition to your wardrobe that won’t go out of style. Timeless pieces made to last thanks to premium materials and superior make up techniques. What more could you ask for?

One Of One Georgia

When younger, summers were spent in her father’s knitwear business, a fire was soon sparked and her obsession with textiles was burning bright.

In 2012 she moved to London to expand her knowledge at the prestigious London College of Fashion. First graduating with a BA in Fashion Design and Development. Following this she went onto obtain a MA in Costume Design for Performance.

During her years of studying, Georgia was recognised for her talent and awarded first place during an international competition held by June Sarpong. As a direct result, her collection was created by artisans from around the world and displayed in the store windows of Liberty of London and the United Nations building in New York.

After her Masters degree Georgia endeavoured to set up her own business offering costume services to the film and music industry, as well as creating bespoke pieces for performing artists and designers.

Never one to stand still she went onto develop her skills further as a Fitter and Tailor at Selfridges flagship store on Oxford Street, London.

Today her passion is shared between her work as a Couture Design Consultant and as Designer and Pattern Cutter at One of One.
